Services Offered

Psychological therapy would involve meeting with me for 1-2 sessions to complete an assessment. This would involve a detailed conversation about your current problem, your history and your goals for therapy. The assessment would help us to determine the type of therapy suitable for your difficulties and how many sessions would be needed. Most psychological therapy lasts between 8 and 20 sessions thought this may be longer or shorter depending on your particular needs.  

The therapies which I practice include:
     Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
     Mindfulness
     Motivational Interviewing
     Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
     Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
     Psychodynamic Interpersonal Therapy


I have experience of working with people with a wide variety of problems including:

     Depression and low mood

     Anxiety problems (OCD, worry, panic, social anxiety, phobias)

     Low self-esteem

     Eating disorders

     Chronic pain

     Adjustment to illness or disability

     Interpersonal difficulties/relationship problems
